Keesing renews partnership with Interpol

Keesing Reference Systems has renewed its partnership with INTERPOL in a move which the company says will enable it to continue offering the most comprehensive reference database for banknote authentication with a view to preventing fraud, illegal labour and money laundering.
Keesing will provide INTERPOL with access to its database for use in the fight against international crime. INTERPOL will assist Keesing in expanding its database through the provision of regular updates on genuine banknotes from its extensive international network of 190 member countries. This will further expand the Keesing reference database which the company says is essential for maintaining its role at the forefront of global banknote authentication.
Mike Krechting, managing director of Keesing Reference Systems, comments: “We aim to provide our clients with the most up-to-date solutions and materials. We are pleased to announce our renewed partnership with INTERPOL which will be a significant boost in achieving this.”
Keesing’s authentication solutions are powered by its reference database, which contains detailed descriptions and high-res images of thousands of documents from over 195 countries. According to the company, this database is built on years of expertise and a carefully chosen and maintained international network. To safeguard the quality of its solutions, Keesing works closely with international organisations and governmental bodies.
