Keesing launches ID AuthentiScan

Keesing Technologies has launched ID AuthentiScan, a new solution for extensive ID document authentication.

According to the company ID AuthentiScan is a solution that provides top quality, high speed ID authentication functionality. It says: “Place an ID document on a passport reader and the system automatically performs multiple checks in a matter of seconds.”

It claims that what makes this solution unique is that it offers extensive authentication functionality at expert level without requiring any specialist operating knowledge or skills. Within a few seconds, the system automatically carries out up to 40 checks on an ID document after which it immediately shows whether or not the document is genuine and valid. For those who require even more authentication assurance, ID AuthentiScan can also be used to compare live document data to reference information from Keesing’s unique ID document reference database. This database provides access to more than 2,500 ID documents from over 200 countries and organisations.

The solution also offers a screening tool, providing the user the possibility to match the document bearer’s personal details against multiple international sanctions lists.

With ID AuthentiScan, Keesing says it offers organisations, such as government bodies and financial institutions, a fully automated solution for authenticating ID documents while managing regulatory, financial and reputational risk at the same time.
