Netherlands-based IAI industrial systems is set to supply two BookMaster One passport personalisation systems to Brazil.
The systems will be supplied to Casa da Moeda do Brasil (the Brazilian Mint). The systems will be installed at its plant in Rio de Janeiro, and are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2014.
According to IAI, BookMaster One systems perform the entire personalisation of the passport in one pass through the machine including verification of all operations performed. This means the systems turn blank books, inserted in the machine, into fully personalised passports ready for issuing.
IAI industrial systems also supplies systems for securing and/or personalisation of ID cards, driver licences, banknotes, diplomas and other security documents.
