IAI scoops Irish contract

25/11/13

IAI industrial systems is set to supply two BookMaster One systems to the republic of Ireland for the personalisation of the country’s passports. The systems are expected to be delivered to the Irish Passport Office in the capital, Dublin, in the second quarter of 2014.

BookMaster One systems perform the entire personalisation of the passport in one pass through the machine including verification of all operations. This means the systems turn blank books, inserted in the machine, into fully personalised passports ready for issue.

IAI’s systems are in use in many countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, the UK, Sweden, China, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Portugal, Estonia, Costa Rica, Poland, Morocco, South Africa, Bulgaria, Algeria, India, Uzbekistan and Thailand.
