SDW 2015 sells out in record time

SDW has underlined its role as the world's leading next-generation government and citizen identity conference and exhibition by selling out all exhibition space more than six months ahead of the SDW 2015 show.

Some 105 companies have signed up to participate at the event, which will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London from 9-11 June 2015. The event’s ninth outing has seen its fastest-ever sales, with an exhibition waiting list now in operation.

Event organisers Science Media Partners have announced that registration for the SDW 2015 conference is now open, and revealed plans to launch a “Government Select” scheme to attract high-ranking government attendees to the event.

“We are immensely proud to have sold out our exhibition more than six months before the event starts. We believe this reflects the strong reputation that SDW has built up over the past nine years to become the number one international event for all those seeking next-generation citizen and government ID solutions, ” said Mark Lockie, managing director of Science Media Partners and director of SDW 2015.

Government focus

The Government Select scheme will capitalise on SDW’s strong record in attracting a wide international audience, with a special emphasis on government participants.

An impressive 16% of attendees represented government and/or law-enforcement organisations at the 2014 event, comprising more than 250 individuals from 30 countries. More than 1,600 attendees from 65 nations were there with 66% of participants travelling from outside the UK.

“We are delighted to announce today the establishment of our Government Select scheme, which will see us investing a significant capital resource into being able to invite hand-selected, high-ranking government officials from across the world to attend the event”, said the SDW 2015 director. “We anticipate that this will boost our already-strong government presence and deliver an unparalleled audience to the event.”

Senior-level government officials interested in participating in this scheme should contact Mark Lockie for more information on the programme.

Registration now open

The organisers have noted that with registration for the conference now open, that delegates booking early can access the lowest rates – currently £450 +VAT for a full three-day ticket – or less than 40% of the standard conference fee. This price is for any category of participant, government or otherwise, but there is limited availability.

Delegates can register online at:

In keeping with the emphasis on attracting participants from government, the rate for government attendees from Asia, Africa and Latin America has been set at just £399 +VAT, which includes access to the entire three-day event, including the conference and exhibition.

Government attendees from other world regions can also register for £499 +VAT (Rate expires 20th February 2015). Plus, for every two standard government places booked, the second is at half price.

Entry to the exhibition is free to registered visitors, and all visitors pre-registering before 01 May 2015 will be upgraded to Visitor Plus+ status and the chance to win a free delegate pass to SDW 2015.

Pre-registration can be completed at:
