ITW Security Division’s Montpellier Site adds accreditations

ITW Security Division’s Montpellier site (Fasver) has again achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation for the design, production and sale of security films – building on the renewal of their Intergraf CWA15374:2008 Security Management for Suppliers to the Security Industry awarded earlier this year.

In a statement, the firm said these accreditations confirm ITW Security Division’s commitment to being the security solution provider of choice for global government programs for the production of secure ID documents.

ITW notes that its global production sites continually seek to make all the necessary efforts and undertakings to ensure the highest levels of security standards for production and this is reflected in the standards achieved including, NASPO Level II and ISO14298 at ITW Security Division’s Cranbury site (Covid) and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 at ITW Security Division’s Brantham site (Imagedata).

“Our business relies on the highest security standards and our objective is to manufacture ID products of the highest quality and which offer the best possible protection of the personal information on official documents” says Bob Carey, Business Unit Manager of ITW Security Division. “Governments and their citizens must be able to have complete trust in their identity documents and not fear fraud or forgery; the certification of our sites across the widest range of ISO & Security standards helps deliver this, ensuring the confidence in our products for our customers”.

Established by Intergraf, the European Confederation for Printing and Allied Industries, the CWA15374:2008 certification is one of the highest international standards and it certifies that ITW Security Division’s Montpellier site (Fasver) meets all requirements of the standard with regards to security and quality management of the products manufactured within their facility. ITW Security Division is also a member of the International Hologram Manufacturers Association (IHMA), is ICAO compliant and these, together with the latest accreditations, reconfirm the business’s commitment to the secure document market by providing a single source supply for high security laminates, document seals and dye diffusion (D2T2) ribbons
