Iritech develops iris-enabled ID card solution


Biometrics firm Iritech has developed an ID card solution with HD Barcode that works with iris authentication.

In a video, the firm demonstrates HD IrisCheck, showing how simple it is to securely embed both personal human-readable information and an iris' digital template data using an IriTech camera attached to a Smartphone into an HD Barcode.

Once the HD Barcode is created, the code can be printed on an Identification card or document for immediate -authentication of an individual via Smartphone or stand-alone reader device without the use of the Internet or a database.

Co-developed by IriTech and HD Barcode, HD IrisCheck enables identification through mobile devices without requiring a database, network or internet connection.
