NEC adds protection functionality to facial recognition software

NEC Scandinavia announced today an important addition to their suite of ID solutions that prevents unmatched people featuring in live feeds.

NEC, an experienced vendors within Public Safety and Biometric applications, have developed a function in their Neoface Watch suite which will hide any unmatched/unknown individuals captured in any forensic material or live feed when traditional matching is performed.

The function was launched at SKYDD exhibition in Stockholm.

Benny Ekman, MD of NEC Scandinavia states: "This function means that we can offer selective facial recognition to Customers".
