Connly elected to Zebra board of directors

Zebra Technologies has announced its stockholders have elected Linda M. Connly to the company’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Connly replaces Andrew K. Ludwick who is retiring from the Board.

“We welcome Linda Connly’s extensive experience in revenue strategy and execution, M&A integration and governance in the technology sector which will be valuable to Zebra’s Board as we expand into new markets and solutions,” said Michael A. Smith, Chairman, Board of Directors, Zebra Technologies.

Andrew Ludwick has served as a director of Zebra for 12 years. The Board thanks him for his invaluable service to Zebra. “We are grateful for the many important contributions Andrew Ludwick has made to the Zebra Board during his tenure, particularly in the areas of strategy and products,” continued Smith. “His work as a prominent technology CEO, entrepreneur, and investor has benefitted Zebra greatly during these important transformational years. We wish him all the best in his retirement.”

Connly also served as the Interim Executive Vice President of Rackspace where she led transformation for a $1.8 billion managed services business. Prior to that, she held numerous roles at EMC Corporation including her work as EMC’s Senior Vice President where she led the go-to-market integration of 25,000 people for the Dell Technology/EMC merger.

“I am honored to join the Zebra Board of Directors,” said Linda Connly, Director, Zebra Technologies. “Zebra has an impressive track record over its 50-year history, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s future growth based on my cross-functional experience driving technology innovation and transformation.”
