Suprema ID unveils multi-functional document reader


Suprema ID today rolls out its compact, multi-functional, full-page document reader, RealPass-N for one-step scanning of multiple document types including ICAO Doc 9303 compliant eMRTD such as e-passport, e-visa, ID cards and barcodes.

This brand-new document reader from Suprema ID is designed to provide fast and accurate data capture and extraction from visual data page and RFID chip of electronic documents. With its compact form factor, hoodless design and intuitive feeling, RealPass-N offers a significant advantage for integration to e-Gate and Kiosk solutions as well as the traditional desktop solutions.

Equipped with the cutting-edge functions including adaptive image enhancement solution via Suprema ID’s true image engine for external lighting, anti-glare technology for highest quality image acquisition, integrated dual RF antenna and durable tempered glass with IP54 surface, RealPass-N also provides BSI certified PKI solution for e-Passport & e-ID and multiple wavelength illumination via the RealPass SDK.
