The EDAPS Consortium says it has registered 258 intellectual property objects in Ukraine and abroad, including patents for innovative technologies and certificates of trademark registration. The EDAPS trademark has been registered in 44 countries, including UK, Austria, Russia, China, India, UAE, Israel and others.

According to the company, more than 40 patents and certificates on unique inventions, technologies, methods of production and identification of holographic security elements have become the result of the scientific and production activities of the Specialized Enterprise HOLOGRAPHY, which is a member company of the EDAPS Consortium.

Technical solutions of one EDAPS member – ZNAK Ltd – have been defended with nine patents in the field of payment cards and registered forms production, especially electronic forms.

Another EDAPS member, KP VTI, possesses 111 copyright certificates for its software and databases.

The EDAPS Consortium was founded by Ukraine’s leading high-end technology providers.

EDAPS manufactures ePassports and ID cards for the officers of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). The driver’s license manufactured by the EDAPS Consortium is recognised by the European Union. EDAPS is a developer and document manufacturer of passport systems for the confirmation of authenticity of diamonds and jewellery produced by De Beers.
