Hirsch Identive inks DOJ deal
02 July 2012
Hirsch Identive has received a US$1.7 million order from an agency within the US Department of Justice (DOJ) for its credential-based access control systems.
Delivery under the order was completed in the second quarter of 2012.
According to the company the order is part of a sustainability programme developed by Hirsch Identive for the DoJ agency to support the agency’s long-term security initiatives, and encompasses multiple deployment sites across the US. To address the large number, scope and critical nature of the deployment locations, this latest contract includes the creation of a customised training programme for agency technicians at agency sites and the purchase of spare components to ensure immediately availability when needed.
