IPS reveals more on ID card procurement approach

The UK’s Identity and Passport Service (IPS) has published a document highlighting the finding of an Intellect workshop on the procurement strategy for the National Identity scheme.

As part of pre-procurement market engagement activity, IPS had devised a series of workshops with the trade body ‘Intellect’, which were held in January and February of 2007. In February, a further session was held on procurement approach.

To ensure all interested suppliers are aware of the information provided at this session a procurement ‘briefing’ document has been produced and can be downloaded below. The document covers information presented, further updated thinking and clarity on issues that were raised.
