UAE/Saudi make ID card agreement

The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement to enable citizens to use their respective identity cards to travel freely via land, sea and airports between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Major General Mohammad Salem Al Khaili, director of the Residency and Naturalisation Department, and Major General Salem Bin Mohammad Al Blaihid, director general of the Saudi Immigration Department.

The agreement was signed in line with the directives of the leaderships of the UAE and Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries to ease the travel of GCC citizens among their countries.
