De La Rue taps Datastrip for biometric readers

De La Rue Identity Systems has selected Datastrip to supply mobile biometric readers and associated components for certain ongoing national identity programmes.

“The Datastrip mobile devices provide the ability for authorised officials to validate the identity of a person by reading and displaying the data stored in an ID card or document,” says Patrick Gilmore, vice president, National Sales, Datastrip. “We are delighted in the signing of this agreement with De La Rue and look forward to a successful cooperation between the two companies.”
