PNR data leads border security fight

Since the terrorist attacks of 9/11, many Western governments have stepped up their efforts to counter terrorism and trans-border criminal activities. Increasingly, governments are replacing their legacy systems with Passenger Name Record (PNR) data and interactive Advance Passenger Information Systems (iAPIS). When one considers the data captured by these approaches, it is easy to understand why.
