AOptix has opened a sales office in Singapore to serve the company’s Asia Pacific customers.

“With the growing interest in securing airports and borders in the Asia Pacific region, the Singapore office is an important element of our global sales and support strategy,” says Dale Bastian, vice president of Sales for AOptix.

The office will be led by Anthony Hay, director of Asia Pacific Sales. “Anthony brings a tremendous amount of experience in this industry from his recent positions with Daon and NEC,” says Bastian.

The company’s products include AOptix InSight, a fully automated system designed for biometric eGates where speed, accuracy, and consistency of operation are critical. It also offers the InSight Duo, a biometric system with simultaneous ISO standards-compliant iris and face capture.
