Joƫlle Toledano joins Inside Secure board
03 July 2012
INSIDE Secure has appointed Joëlle Toledano to its supervisory board as an independent member.
With a PhD in mathematics and a PhD in economic science, Toledano has pursued an academic career in parallel to a business career. She started out as a research officer at the French national research centre CNRS, before lecturing in economics at the University of Rouen (France).
At the same time, she held various management positions in the IT and telecom industries. She was deputy CEO of Alcatel TITN and Alcatel-Answare from 1987 to 1989, then CEO of CCMC Ressources Humaines. Subsequently, she joined La Poste group’s strategy division in 1993, before going on to become its director of European and national regulations in 2001.
As a professor at the SUPELEC University in Paris from 2005, Toledano was a member of the Autorité de régulation des communications électroniques et des postes (ARCEP, French digital communications and postal sector regulator) from 2005 until year-end 2011.
“We are delighted to welcome Joëlle Toledano as a new member of our Supervisory Board,” says Rémy de Tonnac, CEO of INSIDE Secure. “She will provide INSIDE Secure with the benefit of her experience in institutional relationships and her in-depth knowledge of the telecom and digital services industries, which, in a fast-moving technological environment, will represent an invaluable strength for our group.”
INSIDE Secure’s Supervisory Board now includes eight members, five of whom are considered as independent under the AFEP-MEDEF corporate governance code for French listed companies, as updated in April 2010.
