ABnote has confirmed that Nicholas Ficinus has been promoted to the position of CEO of ABnote Australasia.
Ficinus, who brings more than 10 years experience with the company, succeeds Justin D’Angelo who recently returned to the US after a three year deployment.
“It is with a great deal of pride that I leave a thriving organisation to a new dynamic leader”, says D’Angelo. “There have been some significant challenges over the last three years, and Nicholas was a key member of the management team that successfully saw us through every one of them. Nicholas’ vision, combined with the passion of the ABnote management team, can only further strengthen ABnote’s position in the market.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Nicholas’ calibre and expertise to step up to the lead at ABnote”, says Steven Singer, chairman and CEO, ABnote Global. “Nicholas is the rare blend of strong communicator, customer-focused visionary and potent leader. We are confident that these skills will allow him to continue and grow ABnote’s proud track record of innovation and sustained profitability.”
Ficinus says: “I am excited to take over the Australasian unit of ABnote at such an exciting time in our 207 year history! Our innovations in the form of newer and better approaches to Secure Financial Cards, Drivers Licences, Passports, NFC and TSM services could not have been better-timed, with more and more enterprises requiring the secure technology products and solutions that that ABnote now delivers.”
