Entrust and GET Group collaborate on ePassports

Entrust is growing its trusted ePassport partner network by teaming up with GET Group, a supplier of ePassport and identification solutions and technologies.

"GET Group’s Passport and ID Division will collaborate on global projects by leveraging their proven and highly secure ePassport technology," said GET Passport and ID Division President & CEO, Gary Christelis. "By collaborating on a complete solution, we’ll be working together to ensure the latest ePassport technology is available to security-conscious governments across strategic global regions."

GET Group will integrate Entrust’s ePassport public key infrastructure (PKI) capabilities - based on both Basic Access Control (BAC) and Extended Access Control (EAC) technology - to help complete an efficient, comprehensive end-to-end ePassport solution.

Entrust is dedicated to partnering with third-party solution providers whose technology can augment or leverage the benefits of Entrust’s layered security solutions.

Entrust provides BAC ePassport security for a number of top e-governments in the world, including the U.S., UK, Slovenia, Singapore and New Zealand.
