Xiring sees gains in healthcare division

 

Xiring’s healthcare division has continued to make gains, according to the company’s third quarter results.

Its healthcare activities saw turnover reach 10.4 million euros for the first nine months of 2009, up on last year’s figure of 7.8 million euros for the same period. Turnover for the third quarter was 3.3 million euros, up by 57% on the third quarter of 2008.

However, business was less rosy in its banking division, where turnover fell by 73% in the third quarter, contributing to the 45.5% decline for the first nine months of 2009.

Overall, the company’s third quarter turnover was 4.4 million euros, down by 29.2% on the same period last year. Turnover for the first nine months of the year was 16.2 million euros, down by 15.2% on last year’s figure of 19.1 million euros.

As a result of this quarter’s results, Xiring has revised its annual turnover target to 25-26 million euros. The company has maintained its target operating income at more than 14%.
