HJP inks Oman deal

 

Royal Oman Police (ROP) has awarded HJP Consulting a contract to provide consultancy services for the new Omani ePassport project.

Under the terms of the deal, HJP will support ROP in the planning, procurement and implementation of the new ePassport project. It will also enable ROP to select the most suitable supplier for delivering new ePassport booklets as well as the related IT system.

As a first step, HJP’s consultants are providing an AS-IS-Study. Based on this study, HJP will develop a set of requirements specifications. The ePassport system requirements will then be issued within an international public tender process. HJP will further support the ROP during the evaluation of bids. Finally, HJP will help ROP during the ramp up phase of the implementation project.

This is HJP’s fourth major eID Consultancy contract in the Middle East region.
