DataCard launches PB6500 passport issuance system

DataCard has launched its modular DataCard PB6500 passport issuance system which automates inline high-volume passport production. According to the company, the system can apply level one, two and three security features, and offers a range of passport personalisation technologies. It also includes system level security features such as secure login, data encryption and biometric authentication support.

Modules currently available for the system include booklet leafing, contactless chip personalisation, laser engraving, colour inkjet printing, vision registration, security lamination, number perforation, quality assurance and label affixing.
