Clear enrolment breaks all its records
The US’ registered travel program (RTP), Clear, says it took only 30 hours for 1000 fliers to sign up at flyclear.com following the official opening of enrolment at San Francisco International Airport earlier this month.
“This pace breaks all our records,” says Allison Beer, Clear senior vice president for corporate development. “We knew there was a great deal of interest in the San Francisco Bay Area, but this beats even our expectations.”
Clear operates five enrolment stations in the Bay Area: two at San Francisco Airport, two at San José Airport and one at the Hyatt Embarcadero.
“The network effect we’ve always envisioned – in which enrolment accelerates everywhere because the Clear card becomes so much more useful as more airports join the network – is now happening,” adds Allison Beer.
Clear says it has now enrolled more than 59,000 travellers throughout the US.
