SAFE ID and ST Electronics to partner

SAFE ID Solutions and Singapore Technologies (ST) Electronics have entered into a strategic partnership focusing on ID projects in Asia, Africa and Europe.

The two companies say that together they will be able to provide customer-specific solutions that meet the demands of government and private customers.

SAFE ID’s portfolio includes document lifecycle hardware and software, including biometric enrolment, optical and electronic personalisation, as well as verification solutions.

ST Electronics provides eGovernment info-communication systems, integrated security and digital defence technology.

The two companies say that by combining their portfolios they will be able to deliver superior solutions for governments around the world. “The combination of SAFE ID’s comprehensive identification and verification expertise with ST Electronics’ extensive capabilities in large-scale governmental infrastructure projects is a big advantage for both parties,” says Safe ID.
