Grant Evans joins Bell ID

Bell ID has appointed Grant Evans as advisory director.

Evans will be responsible for strengthening and developing the company’s strategic alliances as well as providing support for the advancement of Bell ID’s identity token management solutions for governments, enterprises and institutions. He will also play a key role in the company’s expansion into the American regions.
Evans joins the company with 25 years’ experience as a senior executive, CEO and board member of various public and private organisations within the security and identity sector including: 3VR, A4 Vision, American Electronics Executive Advisory Committee, Bioscript, Comdex Advisory Board on Security, Congressman Honda’s Blue Ribbon Security Board for Home Land Security GridIron Systems and Transglobal Secure Collaboration Program (TSCP).  Most recently he was chairman and CEO of Actividentity. 
According to Bell ID, Evans has driven companies into leading global market positions, initiated and driven technology standards and raised more than US$150 million in investment capital. He has also held numerous advisory roles in partnership with investment groups that have included Menlo Ventures, Pearl Street Ventures, Reserve Venture Group and Vector Capital.
