Cognitec Systems will be presenting its latest line of products at Security Document World 2010 being held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London from 8-10 February 2010.
The biometric firm says its presentation includes image capturing and quality assessment based on ISO criteria for ePassport images, face recognition on handheld devices, face recognition video scan software and face recognition DBScan software.
According to Cognitec, its image capturing and quality assessment solution features real-time feedback to individuals being photographed as well as advanced camera control which ensures the capturing of optimal images. Existing images can also be checked to ensure that only ISO compliant images are accepted for document issuance.
Its 1:1 and 1:many face recognition technologies are now available on mobile units enabling users to identify individuals independent of network connection.
The company’s face recognition videoScan software provides identification of individuals through video surveillance cameras using multiple cameras in real time, based on the company’s own face tracker technology.
Its face recognition DBScan software is used to identify duplicates in very large image databases.
