German supplier SAFE ID Solutions has introduced a new inkjet-based manual passport personalisation system that can churn out up to 180 passports per hour. According to the supplier, the MS 300 is a completely new design which “brings inkjet- based personalization technology to the limits in terms of speed and quality”.
According to Karsten Neugebauer, CEO and founder of SAFE ID Solutions: “SAFE ID has…developed a personalisation system that goes far beyond latest market standards in terms of speed and quality.”
As well as achieving a throughput rate of up to 180 passports per hour, the MS 300 can be enhanced with features such as RFID devices for the simultaneous, electronic personalization of ePassports, continuous ink systems or camera devices with passport number reading capabilities.
The system can also be integrated into personalization management systems as SAFE ID’s PerSoSuite (PSS) software solution.
The MS 300 is installed in SAFE ID’s demo room in Unterhaching.
