ID Data Cards increases workforce

UK-based ID Data Cards says it is achieving record growth despite the economic gloom and is planning to increase its workforce by more than 15%, creating 13 jobs at its plastic cards manufacturing facility following a number of recent business wins.

The company says it is looking to fill a range of temporary and full time positions at its Petersfield facility including production, logistics, engineering and account management roles. This includes a number of production operators to run high-volume, computer-controlled machinery; a logistics operator to work on a short-term basis; and an electro-mechanical engineer to provide maintenance support during the night shift.
John Cooke, Business Development director at ID Data comments: “In the past month we have secured a number of new contracts that will boost our card volumes by more than 20,000,000 per year. This growth has been achieved as the result of much hard work by our team at Petersfield, in what are challenging trading conditions, so we are delighted to be able create these employment opportunities.”
