Cross Match Technologies has announced that Claus Hünting has joined the business to lead the company’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) sales team.

A former director of sales with LaserCard Corporation with extensive experience in the ID document industry, Hünting joins Cross Match as vice president, EMEA sales. According to Cross Match, he has driven global ID solutions initiatives and successfully penetrated the national ID market in the Middle East and Africa, having managed projects for the Saudi Arabian and Angolan governments’ national ID programmes.

“Claus brings a proven track record in leading international sales initiatives in the identification solutions market over the last 12 years,” says Glenn Hickok, senior vice president, global solutions for Cross Match. “His knowledge of, and relationships in, the biometrics industry and government ID market compliment and strengthen our commitment to the EMEA marketplace.”

Hünting will be based out of the Cross Match EMEA Regional Office located in Jena, Germany.
