HRS wins FATS4 supplier status
Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has been awarded supplier status under the Ministry of Defence new Framework Agreement for Technical Support (FATS4).
FATS4 was developed to support the MoD and other Government departments in the fast and efficient procurement of specialist technical expertise.
HRS says: “In practice this means that HRS can now directly support the UK Ministry of Defence with its highly specialist skills and capabilities.
“Through enlisting a select group of often niche suppliers such as HRS, project teams within the MoD for example are able to use the vast amounts of knowledge and expertise gained by commercial companies at the cutting edge of their respective industries and translate this into in-field capabilities.”
Human Recognition Systems joins FATS4 as the only specialist biometric provider.
“We are incredibly excited to be achieving this award and having the opportunity to work directly with the MoD,” says Neil Norman, chief executive of Human Recognition Systems. “This will allow us to bring all of our extensive experience and skills to the table helping to really shape and build the military capability of tomorrow.”
